Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using the service. By using it, you agree to them.

What this is

An interactive self-reflection experience that reads patterns from what you choose to tell it and develops a portrait alongside. It's provided for insight and entertainment, as-is.

Where AI is used

You are using an AI-assisted system, not talking to a person. Questions and quick-answer choices come from a fixed question bank maintained by the service. DeepSeek processes free-text answers to extract possible directions and generate summaries and portrait text. Model-generated output is not reviewed by a person before you see it. The system can be wrong, inconsistent or more confident than the evidence supports, and similar answers may produce different wording after model or prompt updates. Treat the result as material for reflection, not a measurement. Nothing here is psychological, medical, relationship or legal advice, and no important decision should rest on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of generated output.

Not fortune telling

Some concepts in the axes were informed by published personality and relationship research, including work on the Big Five, attachment, partner ideals, conflict and repair, investment and love styles. Print of You is not a validated psychological assessment and does not reproduce any one research instrument. The result uses what you answer. It does not use your birth date, star sign, cards, numbers or directions, and it does not predict the future. The darkroom guides are fictional characters; details such as a fictional birthday are character design only and do not affect the questions or analysis.

Age

We do not verify age. You may use the service only if you can lawfully consent to its data processing where you live, or have any consent required from a parent or guardian. Creating an account and making any future purchase also require the legal capacity required in your jurisdiction.

Not advice, not a diagnosis

Nothing here is medical, psychological, or relationship advice, a diagnosis, or a prediction of anything that will happen. If you're struggling, please talk to a qualified professional.

How to use it

Please don't attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse the service, and don't submit other people's personal data or anything unlawful.

Your content and published portraits

What you write remains yours. Published portraits use our art assets and contain no free-text answer. A wall post uses a separate browser identity: you can take it down from the browser that published it while that identity remains available, or contact us. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Availability

The service is provided without warranty and may change, pause or end at any time. The core experience can be started free of charge, with a daily free allowance of frames. Prepaid frame packs are sold at the prices published on the Film refills page; they never expire, and there is no subscription. Every checkout page shows the price, the frames included and any applicable tax before you pay, and refunds of unused packs follow the checkout terms shown there.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, data or goodwill. For all claims arising from the service, our total liability does not exceed what you paid for the service in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100 if you have paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions or limits; there, they apply to the maximum extent the law permits.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless from claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, the content you submit, or your infringement of third-party rights, including privacy and intellectual-property rights.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For any dispute arising from these terms or the service, please write to [email protected] first so we can try to resolve it together; failing that, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction.
