More at ease close, or with some room? When something happens, are they the first person you want to tell, or do you carry it yourself for a while? Letting them in and asking for help both sit on this axis. Neither end is a problem. Being close is one kind of intimacy; keeping some room is another. We only look at the thing you told us about: did you tell them, tell them part of it, or keep it to yourself?
