Reset
back in rhythm quickly ←→ the after-effect stays awhile
How long something stays with you after it's over. Neither end is better: quick is clean, slow has an afterglow.
Reset is about pace, not toughness. Some people have a rough night and go to work the next morning. For others a thing is two months gone and still turns up in the shower. Both are normal. Quick isn't cold, slow isn't fragile, and the people it stays with longest are often the ones who remember what others did for them. We never ask whether you're strong. We look at the story you told: from the day it happened to the day you could get on with other things, how long was that? Kept going while it still hurt, or waited until you'd recovered? We note those separately, never as one score.
